I see alot of people around here have been prescribed Verapamil and various Beta blockers to control their MAV. What about ACE inhibitors, such as Lisinopril? I actually used to take this (pre-MAV) for borderline hypertension, and I remember it being easy to tolerate.
I feel my options are low at this point. Keppra and Topamax did not work out. The psychiatric meds I have trialled for other reasons don’t help my MAV. Currently, my neuro wants me to try Depakote, but I am borderline anorexic, which I understand eliminates alot of med choices period.
Any input on BP meds (besides Verapamil and B-blockers) would be appreciated. Thanks!
