Withdrawal as trigger?

I don’t believe anything with diet is triggering my migraines, as I have journaled and observed my diet and symptoms off and on for 4.5 years and have seen no pattern. I’ve eliminated things for a trial period and saw no change, actually got worse. There was a month where I eliminated cheese and chocolate (I already don’t drink alcohol, coffee, soda, etc). It was one of my worst months symptom wise and completely messed with my stomach when I tried to eat cheese and chocolate again. I didn’t even want them for awhile, I had to gradually try to add them back to my diet (as my husband loves cheese and he’s the cook and we had so much trouble trying to come up with meals without cheese). I felt better after the re-adjustment to the food. I’m not sure if it was withdraw or related to what you’re describing, but that’s my experience with food and MAV.
