Diet as of today

Just thought I’d share for giggles…

GOOD:
Rice milk - no, REALLY GOOD!
Rice pudding (mmm)
Kashi Go Lean Crunch
eggs
“Ezekiel” sprouted bread
CHICKEN (I could grow feathers)
antibiotic-free, grass-fed beef
most fruits (not citrus)
all veggies
selected Cliff energy bars (with no nuts)
oatmeal and raisin cookies
water
V-8 fusion drink
sugar (woo hoo)
popcorn
corn chips (organic)

BAD:
Onions
Chinese OR Japanese Food
Beer (sob)
nitrates/sulfates (cold cuts)
nuts (all of them, even almonds…double sob!)

STILL DEBATABLE:
Chocolate
cheeses
milk
breads

I know diet definitely plays a role…but it’s different for each of us. Anyone what to share theirs?

Mitch

Today I ate the following, this is pretty typical of most days
Breakfast
Puffin cereal with Rice Milk
Banana
Apple Juice
Gluten free ginger snap
1/2 HCTZ

Snack
Gluten free brownie
5 g-f ginger snaps
fresh strawberries
orange
buckwheat/date muffin (delicious)

Lunch
Quinoa w/Smart Balance fake butter and McCormick’s salt free seasoning
Zucchini
Peas
Ground beef w/onions
cup and a half of raw carrots and green beans

Supper during the week this is always a terrible meal for me
g-f brownie
g-f ginger snaps
apple

I’m trying variations of the elimination diet and since February have eaten very little of the following
wheat/gluten
dairy products
nuts and peanuts (until yesterday when I just had to have a spoonful of p.b.)
chocolate (until yesterday when someone bought me a box of gluten free brownies and they are darn good)

In addition I’m on an anti-migraine diet, low sodium diet, as well as low cholesterol/low fat. All of this means that about 90% of what is sold in the grocery store I cannot eat. And except for fruits and vegetables what is left is very expensive.

Last night I went to a Thai restaurant and tried to choose a meal that was safe so I went for a veg fried rice and had some fish cakes too. I told them to use only soy sauce in the rice which is OK for me (i.e. no oyster sauce).

Unfortunately I am now walking around in a massive thick haze and fog. The rice dish had onions in it which I picked out but I’m certain there was other junk in there I just can’t handle although I don’t know what. I know this particular head fog feeling and it’s a food effect. What a bore. :frowning:
