Just wanted to let you know that I gave birth to Eli on 2/13 at 12:36 AM. He is doing very well and I am recuperating well from the delivery. thanks for those who wrote me PMs. As far as MAV symptoms, I am doing horribly. Even worse than before I delivered - I 'm sure the hormones are going crazy now. I, though, did not expect to be better, and will finally be trialing meds (nortriptyline) in approx 2 weeks, maybe even sooner. I wish I was well, but trying my best to keep my chin up and thankful that Eli is healthy. We’ll be going home today and I’ll have a baby nurse living with us for 2 months. At that point, I will reassess how I am doing and will have to get help for a longer period if I remain this ill.
Hey Lisa,
Big congratulations. Glad Eli is doing well and really hope you are feeling better soon.

Lisa, congratulations on your little bundle of joy!! I was just thinking about you yesterday wondering when your baby was coming. Sorry to hear the MAV is acting up worse than ever. Hormones certainly can have a lot to do with how you are are feeling. I hope you will be able to get on meds soon so that you can get back to normal.

Welcome Eli!!
So glad he is healthy, and wish you felt better - hope the joy of a healthy baby can somewhat help you to feel better when the symptoms feel like they’re at their worst.
New life is always a symbol of hope. Congratulations!
I am glad Eli is healthy and so sorry you are not well. Just try to rest and hopefully you can get started on the meds in short period of time…post a picture of the new bundle of joy when you get a chance.

Hi Lisa,
Congratulations! That is wonderful news. You are truly an amazing woman to have gone through pregnancy and birth with this wretched MAV beast. I’m so sorry to hear that you are feeling worse after the birth but it is good that you can now start to start looking into treatment options. Good luck!

I’m so glad to hear he is healthy and you’re recovering too, and I love his name:) I really hope in the next few months, things start to turn around for you and you start on the road to MAV recovery. Hi Liza,
Congratulations on the birth of your baby boy. Things are probably worse for you as the hormones are dropping so rapidly now. I had the same thing after being pumped full of hormones on IVF treatment. Hope it soon passes and you can get started on a preventative, hopefully one that works for you.
Best Wishes
Christine
I’m so happy for you! It must feel great that Eli is healthy. I know you suffered so during pregnancy so Eli would have the most healthy start in life. Hats off to you. The first couple of weeks after giving birth can be a rollercoaster of emotions so give yourself some time to rest and heal while you have the baby nurse. Kristen
Lisa: Congratulations! Enjoy your new baby boy. Here’s hoping you are able to trial the meds soon and this will all be behind you before you know it.
Joan
Lisa, that is fantastic news! I wish you and your family the best and hope that you can begin the road to some relief. Ben
Thank you so very much for all the notes. It meant so much to me. I am experiencing a mixture of emotions. So happy that Eli is well (I will post some pics soon), but sad about the even further exacerbation of my sxs. Will be starting medicine as soon as I recuperate from delivery, which will be very soon. Thanks again, everyone. Your messages truly brought tears to my eyes. so very kind
