When this site was founded many moons ago, its main focus was Migraine Associated Vertigo (“MAV”). Since then, medical terminology has evolved, and the condition is now more commonly known as Vestibular Migraine (VM). Over the years, our community has broadened. Many members live with Persistent Postural-Perceptual Dizziness (PPPD), a distinct condition whose symptoms can overlap with VM. Others have been diagnosed with Ménière’s disease or Mal de Débarquement syndrome (MdDS). We wanted the site to reflect the common ground between people living with these conditions, rather than focusing on a single diagnosis. That led us, quite a few years ago, to adopt the broader title: _The Vestibular Disorders Support Community_ It may now be time for our web address to reflect that broader community too - or perhaps keeping **[mvertigo.org](http://mvertigo.org)** is still the best choice. What do you think? The result won’t be binding, but we would genuinely value your opinion. We’d also love to hear your reasons in the replies—particularly which name feels most welcoming, memorable and trustworthy. There are a lot of Facebook and other groups online with a variety of similar names. My vote is to stick with “mvertigo”. IMO it sounds more distinctive plus you’ve had it for a long time – why give it up now? ---

I voted to stick with the old name [Mvertigo.org](http://Mvertigo.org). We’ve had it a long time, and changing it will be confusing to our current members and our returning members that have been away for a while might see it as a sign we’ve gone away. ---

My vote is to stay the same, simply because I don’t like change!😆 , and as has been said, it’s easier for those of us who ‘return’ periodically - it feels like home! Second choice ‘[dizzies.org](http://dizzies.org)’ is a small change, but still recognizable… The 'community ’ thing is -IN MY OPINION only - very common online these days, as sfnative says! Please note that even if we changed the website name (tbd and highly influenced by this vote) “[mvertigo.org](http://mvertigo.org)” would still redirect to the new site so old hands would not get lost. ---
