Its very confusingā¦apart from chronic daily dizziness and off balance to varying degrees mostly on a morning my nose and right ear give me the most problemsā¦then my neck joins in to play. You just dont know who to believe when specialists give you conflicting advice

Can we be clear here please. Was it two ādoctorsā or two different consultants? If in doubt go with the person with the higher medical qualifications. Thatās all you can do,
Many people would say he is one of the top U/k experts and be envious.
Iāve no idea what precise instructions he gave you last time but as you are struggling such a timescale would seem ridiculous. Perhaps you need to contact his office/write to him or whatever is recommended procedure in his clinic. Itās crazy to have to wait three months for a 10 minute phone call. Helen
Dr Silver of The Walton Centre writes:-
Although headaches are often the most prominent feature of chronic migraine, ⦠some people with chronic migraine present with other predominant complaints (eg chronic fatigue, neck or back pain, generalised body pains and tenderness, dizziness, vertigo⦠ā¦) in such people it is important to recognise that features of chronic migraine are also present and that vigorous and appropriate treatment of thus condition may provide significant alleviation of these symptoms. Pain may occur anywhere in the head or face. It may also occur in the neck, back or other parts of the body
May well be all part of the same syndrome. Why should people be so unlucky as to experience so many different conditions at the same time. Helen
One docter saw rhinitis up my nose and the other was a neurologist ontologist at wear nose and throat hospital in London
Veena How frustrating is that. Guess you need to keep on the case. Ask you own doctor if they can tell whether rhinitis could be causing your symptoms and try to speak to your consultant sooner rather than later. Itās about time you experienced some relief. You have had this so long now. Helen
