Is this weird...?

Sorry. I was thinking I was replying to @Belindy rather than to you. After all you are pretty certain what caused your initial problems. And indeed your recent relapse.

As far as my condition is concerned I am convinced my own BPPV type stuff was just the beginning of my MAV, a fledging that then morphed and, if things continue as it looks likely at present, those fluctuating hormones affecting my ears is my own root cause.

Yep, hit the Post reply (not Topic reply) button to make that clear  - it will generate a breadcrumb

All comes of trying to do several things at once. However this last instruction really has lost me. Breadcrumb? We making fish cakes?. Can’t follow you. Guess I could do with that fish. Supposed to be good for brainpower. Please elucidate.

If you reply to a post using the post reply button it leaves an avatar which when hit opens a preview of the linked post (on mobile it leads you directly back). In web page interfaces this is known as a ā€˜breadcrumb’ which is a reference to the story of Hansel and Gretel where they tried to use this device to find their way back.

Er, where’s this avatar likely to appear? Can’t say I’ve noticed it.

YES!!! I agree. Something has to be amiss in my inner ear as well as parts of the brain. I’ve given it a lot of thought. It’s like BPPV happened, the nerve between the inner ear and the brain (presumably the cerebellum) is where I think the problem lies. The transmission has blown a fuse. I think of it like an electrical circuit zapping ha! Migraine is an electrical storm. Spreading Cortical depression takes place, but now, narrowing in on the weak area… the inner ear. Makes sense to me.

Well that is my zero medical qualification conclusion.

Oh how fun for you Helen! There is always something isn’t there. Take X to help this, but X will cause that to worsen!
