Just a tip

Ok, obviously it would be amazing to cure MAV from the inside-out but in terms of a coping mechanism, i have found that filling a bag with relatively heavy objects and swinging it while walking is helpful. I use it to function as a pendulum, its not a miracle but it gives me a little bit of momentum and makes me a bit steadier. I’m not sure it would work for everyone since everyones MAV is slightly different but hey, at least its less ostentatious then a cane/walker.

thanks for the tip, i could see how that might add stability. When I was at my worst, i felt like my entire body would sway back and forth while walking. I can’t test it out now, since that symptom has cleared, but i’ll keep it in mind just in case. it really does make sense, given the way i was feeling while walking.
