Won’t the 60Hz element cause issues?

depends on whether its the light bothering you or the refresh rate. Good thing is that once you have that capability to go up to high refresh rate, you can always lower down to something more comfortable in device settings

basically. i’ve yet to get my hands on one but they’re getting rave reviews – eink without all the traditional problems of eink being slow and clunky

100%! It was a DLP projector that caused my MAV to kick of into Chronic Phase. 
(at least that’s what it felt like)
This is what helps me with that (I have VM): I must remember to take frequent “eye” breaks and shift my gaze from near to far, and exercise my eye muscles, ex upper left to lower right, up to down, turning my head type gazes, etc. This also helps while driving and staring straight ahead more or less for too long, so I now scan the horizon more often. I learned these exercise in physical therapy classes when they thought I had vertigo. I guess I would try these eye exercise before buying different screens because it might be that simple. And different screens my cause different eye strain for your eye muscles. We probably all need to take more frequent breaks to avoid eye strain.

My life has been destroyed by this problem. Any sort of focus, staring at anything like reading or TV etc aggravates the agitation in my brain and it worsens the fatigue. I can’t believe the same brain used to do ten hour shifts in a call centre. It’s the most hideous problem to have and I’m so sad for those with the same problem.
