Medicine 1 failed, now what?

Hey Julie!
Nice to hear from you. I’m pretty much at 98% most of the time with a few off days here and there. I ended up adding Zoloft to the Nort and it worked wonders, thank god.

I always wondered how people do when they are not taking any meds. I’m too scared to try to go off the meds.

That’s awesome that you are working out. I really believe that it helps with symptoms. I know it sucks at the beginning cuz you get so light headed, but after you work out for a while it gets easier.

I have also given up on the diet to a certain degree. I still won’t have caffeine or anything with aspartame in it, but as for the rest, I am eating foods that are triggers for others. I have gained 9 lbs since I’ve been taking meds… UGGG Dr Rauch told me don’t pig out lol…

If you are feeling fairly well without the meds then why not see how it goes and take it from there. I find the Nort keeps me calmer which helps with MAV. It’s a hard call whether to try more meds. I was lucky finding what meds worked for me. I hope you find a some relief whether it be with the meds or without. I think you will start feeling much better with exercise in your life.

It was great hearing from you. I had been thinking about you lately and how you were doing. Take care!

Kathy!! Fabulous to hear from you, friend! :). I feel so naughty eating almond butter, lol!

I’ll likely go back on medication if it doesn’t clear up within the next 6 months. I’m glad to hear your exercise induced dizziness calmed down once your “brain got used to it”, so to speak. It’s been pretty rough here lately, but gotta keep trucking along :). Keep me posted on you! I’m happy to hear your well. I’ll post an update every so often too.

Take care until then! Hugs!

Just wanted to update you! I’m starting Topamax today! Cross your fingers for me

All the best! x

Good luck Julie!!! Keep us posted.

Thanks lovelies! Will do! :stuck_out_tongue:
