My Horrible Day!

gotcha, thanks for all your patience Brian - i’ll let it go now

Brian
I was just thinking about all the soda you were drinking as a young man,
Recently they have been discussing an additive they use, I believe it’s a preservative in soda, that has the potential to change a persons DNA.
The more you drink the worse the outcome.
It makes me wonder if this could result in migraines?
I drink lemonade, so not I’m not criticizing at all but it make’s me wonder about all these preservatives, and food modifications these days.
In oz the teenagers especially females are going into puberty younger and younger every decade.
It’s the hormones in the chicken an meat, genetically modified food.
And it seems there’s only a hand full of mothers out there on the crusade trying to fix the problem.

Our kids don’t have a chance anymore!
Between the antibacterial hands wash cleansers used everyday,
The antibacterial cleansers used around the house, kitchen sinks and fridges, our kids are coming down with so many different mutated viruses, and the DR’s don’t know what will be next.
The strain of new viruses around Australia at the moment I’ve never heard of when I was a kid,
We had stuff like the common cold and the flu, maybe a touch of diarrhea!
That was pretty much it in a nutshell apart from the typical measles and childhood stuff.

I wonder what comes next???/

Oh and also a friend just emailed me with this little tid bit.

Counter-intelligent as it may be, some migraine-fighting medications (such as Maxalt-MLT and Zomig-ZMT) also contain the artificial sweetener aspartame, which is a common migraine trigger

Here we are trying to avoid aspartame and they are popping it in migraine preventative.
By golly!!!

and don’t forget about all those supplements and meds we take which are enclosed in gelatin capsules = MSG. we probably get our daily recommended allowance of MSG by taking supplements and alone

I read an article a long time ago about one of the main preservatives in vitamins is yeast and how it can cause ladies certain feminine problems if their tummy isn’t healthy. Just to throw food in the fire.

Everything we take or eat these days seems to have something in it that effects one group of people but not others that it just makes everything hard to watch for when you are on any special type of diet. :x

Well thanks for that Brian, i have to read ALL the fine print on every supplement bottle i take. I have to be on the lookout for soy, gelatin, and now i’m hoping i haven’t let yeast slip by because that’s a big no no on the migraine diet. And the print on those bottles can be so hard to read :frowning:

I didn’t know that yeast was on the no-no list of the migraine diet. Without reading the bottle though, if a vitamin makes your pee turn a bright glowing yellow, then it probably has yeast in it.

no!!! don’t tell me that! i’m going to have to look at all my bottles now and check for yeast. Cause my pee is YELLOW!
