# \*\*Question re MAV\*\*

Hello:

How long does the vertigo last? My attacks of vertigo (room spinning around) last about four or five hours during which time I cannot get up from bed.  
I don’t like it. ☹

Personally, I have never had the spinning vertigo. I have experienced every other type of vertigo though. My attacks last a few seconds to several hours. I do also experience what I refer to 24/7 dizziness. The longest spell of dizziness that I have experienced was around 18 months.

I have never had room spinning vertigo either. Mine attacks at their worst, feel like I could pass out.
