Topamax (stupamax)

I am 56, and I started having problems at puberty, and the older I got, the worse they got. The closer to menopause, the worse it got. Since menopause, it’s been heck. So with any luck it will be the opposite for you.

At least with topamax, the experience of the whole world being paved with sofa cushions is gone.

I have another ear problem also, so I am generally…well…kicking a rough time around.

I’m glad to hear that 25mg is working for you Thornapple.

AZdizzy-- When I first started having vertigo attacks there was no link or triggers that I could find but as the vertigo became more frequent it definitely fell into a pattern with my cycle. Now about 3 days before my time of the month I am dizzy and off balance.

I am getting frustrated. I can’t get more improvement, I can’t tolerate more topamax. The thing that is frustrating me most is that I have not found a neurologist in the city where I live who believes in my diagnosis and will treat me.

All these migraine specialists deal with people with headaches. If you have vertigo, dizzyness, sound sensitivity, hearing problems, nausea, light sensitivity, etc…but no headache, they won’t treat you!

Where the heck am I supposed to go??? My family doctor is wondering the same thing.
