# Topamax-symptoms worse

Is it normal for symptoms at the start of topamax get worse? I’ve only been on a week now and my head rolling sensation feels worse!! 😖

Is this normal? How long does it take to see any relief from symptoms?

I think every drug makes it worse before it gets better, for a couple of weeks. I found topomax helped my MAV symptoms slowly over the course of a month, but the side effects for me were increasing day by day. Others I know have had better experiences.
