VN and migraines - Scott, please respond

Dude, I told you, I’m done. Move on.

You want these notes uploaded to be presented here for doctors? Do you think Rauch and others spend their time reading this forum so they can diagnose and treat people over the internet, for free?

Victoria is quite right. Mvertigo is not a place where specialists drop in to review a patient’s records. That would be incredibly negligent on their part and just ain’t gonna happen. I’ve put your notes up for others here to view only and to help make it CLEAR to you through other members’ input that you are a migraineur.

One of the things Rauch does is to guide his MAV patients here so that they can read other people’s stories to help them “get” how migraine presents. So that they can relate to others and realise that they are not some lone weird case with a strange unheard of problem.

Look, if it’s more emotionally satisfying for you – even in the face of the overwhelming evidence – that you have VN then whatever, but there’s nothing more that I or anyone else can do for you here – and I think Baloh would say the exact same thing given the extensive testing and thorough history you have been through and presented. It’s a no-brainer.

You’re on the right med so at least we’ve made some impact.

Later … Scott

As Scott said, you are now on a great medication so lets see how things unfold. I am confident that you will be pleasantly surprised when you find the right medication. Lets hope that Celexa does the trick for you, as it has done for so many others. Let us know if you notice any changes with the Celexa, and I wish you the best of luck.

Hi! Just wanted to chime in an day mine started just as yours did. I got sick, took antibiotics, woke up spinning and remained dizzy for months. My vision hasn’t been the same since! I now have migraines all the time and my visual snow came out with the migraines. I blame the migraines and the vestibular issues. I have bilateral hypo function and rarely any dizziness just visual vertigo without the spinning. I am going to start taking verapamil which helped before with migraines and calmed down the visual snow.
