I voted no. It was a vague virus and mild ear infection that started my vm.
I wouldnt say I was stressed or burnt out either. I do however have several chronic health issues, Fibromyalgia, Hypermobility syndrome, hypothyroid and Low B12. Whether any or all of the above have predisposed me to balance issues now, because you know I dont have enough to contend with apparently, I dont suppose I’ll ever know.
Its what makes me think the PPPD criteria is a crock, because its strongly linked with anxiety and depression, and I certainly had neither when I started feeling unbalanced. 7 months later however, I hold my hands up.
I voted no. I can find no direct trigger from stress, foods, or environment. I recently started the migraine diet exclusions and taking magnesium. This seems to have helped as I have been vertigo free for three weeks. I will hold off on a final judgment, as I have had longer good periods in the past only to be walloped with a severe vertigo attack seemingly out of the blue.
Wow that’s a good analogy.
I have been away for a while because my VMs have been well controlled with my medication, proper sleep, and exercise.
Then I retired.
Sleep became irregular, exercise all but dissapeared, but the medication stayed consistent.
I was not under any stress when this new round hit, and I cannot identify what is causing it.
Those look like likely candidates. Exercise is critical to keep the vestibular system in tune.
Old post but thought I’d reply as sent a link to this.
I voted no only because I get dizziness and headache/migraine when I’m not stressed. However stress does make the dizziness 10/20x worse.
@Scotty note the question being asked here is:
“Were you stressed / burnt out when MAV hit?”, not “Do you get dizzy when stressed?”
