Worse after a nap?

Quick question…I have been relatively symptom free for about 4 years now. I am currently 8 1/2 months pregnant and when I take a nap and wake up, I feel significantly worse (bouncing eyes, dizzier than normal, etc.) Does this happen for anyone else?

are u on any meds or did u take them in the past and did they help?

I’m pregnant too, and I find that after a nap (or sleeping at night) I usually wake with a headache, but I’m not dizzy. Are you avoiding lying on your back (easier said than done if you’re usually a back sleeper!). You probably are already aware, but when you lie on your back, the weight of your uterus and the baby presses on the major vein that returns blood from your lower body to your heart. Lying on your back for an extended period of time could be making you feel dizzy.
Anyhow, I really hope the dizziness stops soon. There is nothing nicer than a nap when you’re heavily pregnant:)

Don’t know about the pregnancy aspect, but if I sleep for too long during the day I will definitely wake up worse. Changes in sleep pattern are also a known trigger, so it makes sense I suppose. If I keep it under 45 min to an hour I am usually ok.
