Hi, I’m curious to know if anyone has been using Ativan or any other type of benzo for longer than 5 years, not taken daily but say, a few times a week? I’ve had to do this the last 5 years and I’m concerned about long term complications. I’m not addicted and only take it if I feel especially dizzy or having trouble sleeping. 30 pills lasts me 4 to 6 months. Anyone else used it this long? Any complications so far?
I have been on 2mg for at least the last several years. I have ongoing vertigo or dizziness. I take it for anxiety and to help me sleep.
My endocrinologist has prescribed it for me.
