Well I’m back off my hols and my first time in a plane in many years.
I was really excited on the out bound journey but as soon as the plane took off my head went crazy spinning dropping all those horrible sensations. I knew it wasn’t panic as I felt fine beforehand the whole flight I felt every movement the plane banking turning I could tell when we reached altitude as my head felt the worst at that point.
I could also feel when the plane was descending before I knew we were as I just felt dropping sensations the whole time.
I tried to use the toilet and everything was spinning I had to hold
Onto the walls.
It was so awful my boyfriend thought I was just nervous and couldn’t understand why I was dizzy I made the mistake of trying to talk and act normal but everytime I moved my head everything span.
I was so nervous about flying home I popped two travel sickness tabs at the air port before we left for home and although take off was just as bad this time I kept my head fixed against the back rest and did not move and although I still felt dizzy it wasn’t as bad so I sort of found something that helped.
I had such a great time in Spain and no symptoms at all whilst there and drank alcohol most days.
I will go on a plane again and stick to
What I did second time and not move my head I don’t think I will ever like flying but the holiday is worth it as I feel fine when landed so I gather it’s severe motion sickness
Getting not sure so I’m in the unlucky few that flying affects I’m gutted but what can’t you do
