I was diagnosed with MAV in November. I’ve been doing VRT since then. Over the past 5 days I have been trying Nortriptyiny tabs 10mg at night. I dont get sleepy but I have noticed that my disquillibrium is worse. Has anyone else found this drug can worsen symptoms?

My neurologist told me that when you start taking a migriane prophylactic medication, your symptoms can worsen initally and that can be a good sign that it is going to work in the long run. It was certainly my experience with Nortriptyline, but I only took it for 5 weeks because I couldn’t tolerate the side effect of severe fatigue.
