I have started taking 10mg of Celexa in the morning and I can’t sleep now :(. This was the reason I came off of Effexor. I have heard a lot of people have success with Celexa, but I don’t know if this side affect will pass or not. I only sleep and hour or two for the past two nights. I’m not sure wether to keep trying this medication or not. Please help.
how long have you been on it? How much coffee/caffeine do you have during the day if any?
I have only taken it for two days. No caffeine or coffee at all right now.
Can you cut the pill in half and start with 5 mg for like a week? My doctor had me do that when I had started Lexapro due to the side effects I was having. It helped. I’m thinking of getting back on my Lexapro and plan on doing the same thing again.
Yes I actually did that this morning. I’m praying it will help because I need sleep! It’s driving me crazy.
Ugh I’m sorry… I can imagine! I’ve always struggled with sleeping issues, it’s never fun!
