I recall that one oto-neurologist’s intake form asked if I ever experience a tingling sensation around my mouth. I’ve noticed my bottom lip is tingling more and more. Is this associated with MAV or was he trying to rule-out a more sinister condition like MS?
Yes, tingling around the mouth would most likely, I think, be associated with migraine.
Suspicion of MS would have to come from much more “heavy-duty” symptoms, so that wouldn’t have been what the questionnaire was fishing for.
I’ve had a lot of tingling episodes on my face (and elsewhere) but they were not just around my lips–rather, in very specific, repeated small spots, such as a small spot on my lower left chin, or an area just beside my left eye. Weird stuff. (I don’t know if these were migraine or not.)

My lips tingle. Was going on long before this episode hit. Seemed to come along with blood sugar drops, and we migraine brain owners are sensitive to those.

I too have a tingling bottom lip fom time to time. Seems to come in episodes for a few weeks and then disappears again. I have no idea whatsoever what brings it on or why it is episodic. Occasionally it will affect the front of my tongue as well.

My lips tingle too! Keep finding more and more things that I’ve always had that are mav but I never knew it!
