anyone told the DVLA about their condition?
No , it’s something that there seems to be no clear policy from the doctor 's point of view even though officially they are supposed to inform the DVLA if they consider there is any risk to you or the public .
It has been a concern of mine for a few years and would be disaster if i lost my license . A lot of my symptoms are visual and on the rare times i do drive they don’t really affect my capacity to drive . In fact i am so wary of the doctors and consultants informing the DVLA i deliberately play down the visual symptoms of my condition . For the record i never drive if i have any visual symptoms but the DVLA wouldn’t see it that way .
