I have tried so many meds - I sure hope that the next med is the correct one for me. I plan to start Effexor soon. However, I am first waiting for the steroid effects to disappear. I am still feeling worse than ever since on the steroids. I was wondering if Dr. Hain is the only doctor that recommends Effexor. Are you aware of other doctors who recommend it as well?
Hi MAVlisa,
I am on Effexor, and it was suggested by my doc!!! I like it as I stated before, it did up my mood just a bit and that for me is a good thing
Pam
That is good news, Pam. HAs it been eliminating your symptoms of MAV?
Hi MAVlisa,
As stated in another post…I definately have my life back. I still have symptoms, but they are sooooooo much less and I don’t have all the same symptoms that I had before. I was deperate to take anything and everything, I was in such bad shape.
Pam
that is such great news, Pam. What dose are you on? Did you also suffer from chronic disequilibrium.
My doc—a neurotologist-- put me on Effexor 37.5mg last summer. Took about a month - 6 weeks to feel an appreciable difference.
MSDXD - great news. how are you doing now?
Effexor doesn’t completely eliminate symptoms. It’s beneficial to a certain extent.
