For the people doing 6cs diet please help

My black stuff was brown because it was instant coffeešŸ˜Œ

That is a very comprehensive list. Certainly a place to start. Eventually you may find that not everything on it bothers you. Good luck.

I found some more good lists. These are from a migraine sufferer who focused on foods containing Tyramine. (And then it turned out that one of her big triggers was soy.) Hereā€™s her blog plus links to each of the lists:

Looks like fried eggs are back on the list for me then. Im not sure if this diet even applies to me though. Yes it is healthy but i dint think i have headaches or migraine. My head justs feels not balanced and some pressure on the back and whenever i get up from laying down there is more pressure coming down on the back of thr head and occasionally get dizzy and rocky and head feels like a bowling ball. Perhaps this is some form of a migraine

Imho this condition is a confusing mix of ear trouble, the sensory fallout and the neurological impact including but not only migraine.

Just curious - Do you tend to have lower blood pressure? This can also affect you getting up or down.

i dont think so. I use to be at around 144/95 ish then i havent been eating that much and quit coffee so it went down to like 125/82 ish few days ago. Ill check again today. I also lost close to 10lb of weight

Just checked it and it was 129/79

Question about the 3 gram low salt diet How does this correlate with sodium? I just bought some freezer food like salmon sockeye that contains 100mg sodium and alexias sweet potstoes containing 250 mg of sodium.

I believe 1 gram of salt equates to 387.6 mg of sodium, so eating less than 3g of Sodium requires eating less than 7.7g of Salt (which I admit actually sounds a lot to me!)

According to NHS site, you should have no more than 6g of salt a day, or 2.4 g of sodium.

However, I based the 3g on a paper, let me share that.

Here you go, a paper showing improvement or stabilisation of hearing in Meniereā€™s patients on less than 3g sodium/day. In the group with higher salt intake hearing deteriorated:

http://www.aurisnasuslarynx.com/article/S0385-8146(16)30073-6/pdf

Basically the science is:

Low salt intake has been shown to increase concentration of Aldosterone in blood plasma and Aldosterone increases Endolymph Sac absorption of Endolymph, lowering pressure in the ear and reducing Hydrops and heading towards better balance of ear fluids.

Obviously other factors can be involved like fistulaā€™s which would exacerbate unfortunately, but it can only help, clearly!

Ahh thank you. I should be good then.
