Good light?

Seasonal Affective Disorder sufferers are benefited from brighter light, and somewhat bluer than is the winter norm. MAV can mean sensitivity to flickering light, to bright light, . . . shades can help, total contact lens cover can help, I read, and certainly lying down in the dark helps me recover.

Is there any light that people who experience MAV have found to actually be good, easeful, calming, helpful?
Also, has there been, perchance, any research that didn’t go at this from the angle of cutting down light with lenses but actually providing light in some portion of the spectrum?
