Herpes simplex virus and dizziness

Hi Folks,

Through trawling endless hours on the internet as many of you probably do also, I keep seeing stuff about the herpes simplex virus that can cause dizziness.

I just wondered if someone like scott could take a look at this url and comment?

Thanks

i’ve wondered about this personally since my husband and his family always get cold sores near their lips when they get stressed. i hate to call it “herpes” ick, but it is what it is. i’m not sure if this has somehow transferred from him to myself but anything is possible dammit. a virus is a virus. just not sure how to diagnose this one either…

the place that posted this also looks interesting- treating vertigo with the flu vaccine? kind of scary. not sure if it’s a “witch doctor” type of place but i think i’d check it out if it weren’t on the other side of the country! what the heck! maybe that’s why all of us are still dizzy, we haven’t tried that one yet!

If you go to menieres.org you can do a search on herpes or anti virals and you will find tons of information on people who have used drugs and other methods to control their menieres.Since so many people often have overlapping symptoms it might be worth checking out. There has been a lot of debate about whether or not menieres is viral in origin. The discussion is ongoing.

Yeah, I tried that. When I was about five months into this MAV condition, I decided to take a crap-load of Valtrex, as suggested on the Menieres boards. It didn’t do much for me.
