How long should I wait between taking a medication and a vitamin? I am taking a low dose of effexor at the moment and I am considering taking some Magnesium. Should I wait a good hour or so before taking the vitamin?
I really do not know…I take vitamins right together with the Effexor, never thought of it. Maybe you can call a pharmacist to know for sure?
The best would be to check with your pharmacist to make sure, but there should’nt be a problem as essentially vitamins and minerals are naturally ingested or manufactured in the body anyway. We only need to take supplements because we don’t live in a perfect world where we get enough of what we need in our diets. This is only my opinion, as I have no knowledge of the prescription meds!
