MAV and Work

Does anyone have statisitics on what percentage of MAV sufferers are able to continue working? Personal experience with this issue is also welcome. It’s a hard condition to deal with - especially when you work in an office and your work involves using a computer, attending slide presentations (with those dreaded laser pointers), interacting with enthusiastic coworkers (hand flailing, etc), flourescent lights, etc.

I had to take disability from a career I love. My symptoms are greatly debilitating. I hope to get better w meds and return to my career one day.

Was it difficult to get disability for MAV? What hoops did you have to jump - if you don’t mind my asking.
