A friend of my brother in NYC - who I believe has MAV is 48 years old and has suffered symptoms for 2 years. He has seen several neurologists and has reached his wits end. Some of his symptoms have subsided - but he still suffers with word retrieval and some dizziness. Does anyone know a good neurologist in the NYC area?

“I’m living in CT now, and moved from NY last year. I am currently seeing Dr. Priesol at Mass Eye and Ear. In NY, I was seeing Dr. Lawrence Newman at St. Luke’s Roosevelt. If you are in NY, you should definitely contact Dr. Newman.”
