Has anyone had any experience having a nerve block for migraine and MAV issues? My neurologist at Georgetown would like to try it as most of my pain etc can be traced to the occipital nerve which is at the back of my head. They have had success at Georgetown using nerve blocks but I am a bit concerned (ok scared) Just curious if anyone has been “blocked” and what sort of results you have seen… Thanks, Dee

Back pain, some years ago, nerve block injections by a doc in Alexandria, scope-guided, very successful. MAV, not tried.
However, if you do try the Georgetown doc, do let us know how it works out.

I’ve not had a nerve block but I’ve had trigger point injections. I’m not sure if they are related? They were unbelievably painful. I had about 30 of them at one time.
