Does anyone else have this and is it linked to migraine?
I find when my symptoms are worse my bladder is really overractive and sorry if TMI but by that I mean that I need to wee lots more frequently each day. Usually very little urine is passed each time but it’s like each bit of liquid I drink must go through me really quickly and my bladder thinks it is full when it isn’t. I have looked it up and it does say that an overractive bladder can be linked to neurological conditions, in particular MS and Parkinsons, but as these disorders all seem to overlap I assume any kind of neurological damage/disorder can cause it.
I just wondered if I am alone with this symptom? x
I have found when i am going through my relapses i definately wee more but i always put it down to the fact my body was working soooo hard to focus on keeping me upright that it then couldnt focus so much on holding onto my bladder especially after having two kids i tend to try not to test fate :). I know also my digestive system
Works heaps faster when im dizzier.
Yes, definitely…I had read somewhere it is a hidden symptom of migraine. I never knew that and could not figure it out for the longest time, at least, I know now why.
Yes Dr Silver said to me that passing loads of urine can be a symptom of migraine but I wasn’t sure on reflection if he meant passing loads in quantity or the frequency/urgency of passing it?
You see for me, the quantity is very small - it is just that my bladder needs to empty every little bit as soon as it can.
This post has been interesting to me because I have a long history of overactive bladder. I pee alot. My husband has always called me pea bladder-- assuming my bladder is the size of a pea. I regularly get up 3-4 if not more times a night to pee. Sometimes I have irritable bladder- the urgency is great but volume is not. Other times I drink something and it seems to run right through me. Pardon me for graphics- but when this happens my pee is like water- colorless. I have always considered this bladder thing a handicap. When I travel, I usually dehydrate myself so I don’t have to go so often. Now its interesting that this may all be tied to migraine? and dehydration is NOT good.
