I have that standard rocking and swaying sensations which are just horrible but I’ve developed a constant pressure sensation behind my nose and it’s also in my teeth. Has anyone else had these sensations. Very weird!!!
Many of us do. Do a search here and you’ll find much discussion.
Yes, very common. Look at getting a Cefaly device to help knock the pressure down.
That’s a great idea since it desensitizes the trigeminal nerve.
I described mine like it was a brick in my head pressing out behind my eyes throat ears and back of head. A constant pressure out but no pain.
Always confusion though because I couldn’t focus with it there all the time.
Does this work for ear pressure do you know @ander454? It’s one of my main and most irritating symptoms. I don’t get pressure anywhere else but do get numbness in my nose, not sure what that’s about!
Try reading some of @jojo65’s posts I think she’s a numb nose one. From what I have read it’s a hypersensitivity on the Trigmenial Nerve. Search this site and the internet if interested further.
Hmm… I am not aware of it helping with ear pressure. I don’t have much ear pressure, just slightly on occasion but doesn’t bother me. I have also got numbness or tingling on my nose. Seems like my sense of smell can be pretty “off” sometimes.
I experienced much relief using a product called “Sinus Plumber” an all natural nasal spray made of horesradish and cayenne pepper (and yes, the first use was a bit of a jolt… but one gets used to it quickly). Not only will it clear the sinuses (which could be the source of the pressure, especially the teeth, believe it or not) but the theory is that it numbs the trigeminal nerve which can relieve the disequilibrium.
I’d recommend giving it a try! Make sure you get the horseradish/cayenne pepper mix as I believe there are 2 different “Sinus Plumber” products. Good luck and hang in there!
