Hi, this was actually the first drug I tried for my dizziness. For me it worked like magic within a few days I was 90% back to normal. For 10 months it worked amazingly and I completely forgot what dizziness or vertigo even was. I really hope it works well for you!

Then it abruptly stopped working. I tried increasing the dose with no success. I have not been able to find anything to duplicate those results. Right now I’m on amitriptyline and gabapentin which somewhat stabilizes me but I’m not in place I’m happy with. Still take the verapamil as well as it seems to have a small little bit of impact…

Yesterday I had a console with Dr Reed out of Texas. Read Migraine Center. I need to search this website to see if anyone has experience with it… It has the potential to help with all different variations of migraine… If I get my insurance approval then they do a 3-day trial to see if the stimulator is effective, before implanting the permanent one. I’m curious to hear how this goes if you choose to proceed.

It makes sense that something along these lines would work, I have an acquaintance that has Parkinson’s and was on canes. He was in his 30’s at the time and walked like a man in his 90’s. They implanted a similar device, except the electrodes are actually in his brain. He now walks better than I do and doesn’t use a cane.

Thank you for your encouragement, and best of luck with the Read Center! I have been on verapamil for 8 days now with zero improvement. I guess I’m on it til I see my neurologist again which is unfortunately February 2025.

thank you! Give it some time, it could still be effective- most drugs take weeks or months to see a difference

Thank you! And good luck!
