Should i avoid a mouth ulcer gel that contains aspartame

Hi guys, so i’ve got 2 very annoying mouth ulcers, and i went and bought some soothagel from superdrug - but now i’ve taken it home i’ve spotted that a main ingredient is aspartame.

Do you think i should avoid using it for fear of increasing the dizzies?

Or do we think that gel on a mouth ulcer won’t have the same effect?

Not going to sway you on the aspartame–I don’t follow the rules on that very well…but if you want to treat mouth ulcers naturally–use salt water gargle/swish to clean them 3x/day.

Won’t numb them–but will help clear them up faster.

Thank you!

I just know that i’m not so good with aspartame for the dizzies, i think i’m going to return it to the shop, and go forward with you gargling with saltwater!

I don’t know if it’s a trigger for me as of yet…but I just discovered today that my meclizene contains aspartame!!? It’s actually the Bonine formula (chewable). Go figure…
