Soy

Obviously triggers vary, but in general is it allowed?

I’m talking about pure soy beans, soy flour, etc. not fermented soy or soy sauce. I would think it wouldn’t be considering all the other beans that are excluded from the MAV diet.

I do fine with soy milk and with tofu. I suspect I’ve been triggered by a wee bit of a dish that had some Asian sauce in it.

It seems like most people don’t have any issues with Soy, which is what is so surprising to me, given the number of beans that are excluded from the Migraine Diet.

Putting aside John Greenleaf Whittier and “The saddest words . . .,” so far I’ve done pretty well with every type of bean I’ve introduced. Well, I’m pretty unsure about peanuts. I’ve done okay with a number of nuts as well. Almonds certainly. Some walnut, some pecan, . . . I’ve had a cashew or two, but not a real trial. I think pignolas might be iffy.
