The new CGRP drugs may not work for men (only women)!

Interesting JAMA Neurology article from two leading migraine experts discussing data that the new injectable and oral CGRP blockers (erenumab, rimegepant, etc) may only work for women, not men!

Ha ha - that’s good! Yes, I think the experts mean they may be less effective in men, in general, compared to women - hopefully, they still have some benefit in some men, at least.

Yeah I’d say marginally effective…ubrelvy takes my dizziness away for a few hours

And I’ll say that if I didn’t have good insurance I definitely wouldn’t spring to pay for them out of pocket…
