To rock or not to rock

Hello all,

I am having one of those days again. We all know the type, where things are moving around a bit, and rocking to and fro. The fun part for me these days is that after my foot surgery last summer I am still walking with a limp and I rock to an fro when wallking.

So when I walk right now, is it the room rocking or just my limp?

BTW, this is just something to lighten everyone’s day.

Brian…are you moving around a bit or your surrounding is moving around? I tend to feel more like i’m moving.

I’ve never stopped to figure that out. Ususally when I am experiencing a dizzy spell, I can’t think clearly enough to figure something like that out.

Hey Brian,

you also have more trouble in the cold weather, right? or is that MSDXD?

Just add one thing on top of another, on an unsteady platform, and things start to topple a bit, huh?

Good memory Julie. Yes, I do have problems with severe weather in the winter, but not the summer. No clue why. We had a storm that flooded my home city by more than 20 feet above flood stage that didn’t affect me at all. But last winter, there were a few different storms that put me on the couch, some of them nothing more than a drastic tempurature change.

Just wondering, is it the drastic temp change, or is it the cold? We’ve had a drastic temp change from high 70’s to low 60’s during the day. People are really getting sick. I think the drastic change in weather, no matter what the actual temp, can really hit a system hard.

But with you it seems to be the cold weather, yes?

Julie,

We have had days in the summer here, where it was in the 90’s one day, and the 70’s the next and I didn’t experience any drastic problem. In the winter though, the temp will be in the 20’s one day and the single digits the next and I am on the couch.

Brian,

At least you can predict it. Ever consider moving? You’ve got that list of top ten migraine states? I think Hawaii would be good for you.

I’m hoping for a mild winter for you, Brian.
