I just got back from the therapist my neuro sent me to and she said it’s pretty obvous that I have vestibular loss on my left side. She gave me some exercises to do at home and hopefully it will help with my rocking/unsteadiness. I’m also gonna try botox with my neuro to see if it will help with my chronic headaches. Hopefully I can get some relief.
Just out of curiosity, where do they give the botox injections for migraine prevention? I haven’t been able to find this out. Is it in the upper neck? Forehead (take out some lines? ).
She told me that she would do the injections on my forehead and around my head on some spots, and some in my neck to try and relieve the muscle tension. Hopefully with the balance retraining and injections I can get some relief. My therapist also recommended taking up a racquet sport or hockey to keep challenging myself.
