Earthquakes and MAV don’t mix!!!
We got quite a few shakes where I was at, and for the first minute or so, I just thought it was my MAV acting up again!!
Ha Ha…I was thinking…what is wrong with me now… I actually thought it was me!!! And, no they don’t mix, because now I feel like my house is still shaking and its not. LOL!!!
That’s for sure!! Everyone at my work (NW New Jersey) says they now know what I experience! Take care everyone,

You poor things, im glad we dont get earthquakes here,well actually we did have 1 big one back in 1989 but i didnt have the vertigo then .
I have had to ask friends if the the floor really is moving (especially in old houses with creaky wooden floors) or it`s just me…

Welcome to my world! I live in California and we have them daily here.(just not 6.0’s of course) But I really have to think about it, was that an earthquake or is that MAV? It really throws me off!

Heres a tip - dont come to Tokyo in August. So hot and humid that, much like a delicate origami flower, I am wilting. I`m even changing my plans and making a big detour up to a mountain town called Takayama - cooler up there! Then on to Kyoto. Hai!
Hope you are enjoying Tokyo! My husband and I used to be stationed out there (An hour south actually, in Yokosuka). It is one of my most favorite places in the world and I was devastated earlier this year when that earthquake and tsunami hit. Funny enough, last time I experienced an earthquake was there… but of course that was in my pre-MAV days!
