What’s the difference between these CGRP drugs?

What’s the difference the between Emgality (Galcancezumab), Aimoving & Ajovy?

Thanks!

A question for the person who prescribed them to you I suspect. As you know posters on here are sufferers not medics.

According to the migraine specialist neurologist I asked they are all ‘CGRP monoclonal antibodies’. She just lumps them together as one group classification. She gave no indication that she would choose one over another for any particular individual it that’s not to say she wouldn’t.

This is interesting Onandon. Thank you for the information.

The rescue drug Ubrelvy is a CGRP receptor antagonist as opposed to the others which are monoclonal antibodies.
