Hi!! My name is Sandy & I’m almost a year into my VM journey! I’m still experiencing vertigo daily although like many of you, the degree of symptoms vary from day to day. It took months of waiting but I’ve finally been able to see a Vestibular ENT!!! He was very kind and empathetic but most importantly, he listened, really listened, to my story. I start vestibular rehab in a couple of weeks but I’m not sure how much relief is possible but I’m very willing to try.
I’m a retired cardiothoracic ICU RN and am married for 41 years to my husband. We have a grown son and much to my dismay, no grandchildren yet!! lol!! If we did have grandchildren, I don’t know how much fun I would be w this VM!!
I’ve had migraine disease since I was six and was involved in a pedestrian verses school bus motor vehicle accident & experienced severe head trauma. I’m very blessed that I only have migraine disease. I could be far worse and I’m very thankful I’m not!
I look forward to learning more with all of you. Thank you in advance for sharing with me your story!! Thanks
